Terms of Engagement
Thursday, April 17, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (CDT)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
The Liberty Justice Center, the litigation center of the Illinois Policy Institute, is pleased to welcome attorney and author Clark Neily to discuss his new book, “Terms of Engagement: How Our Courts Should Enforce the Constitution’s Promise of Limited Government.” He’ll talk about why decades of sophistry and neglect have eroded our freedoms and allowed government to reign supreme; he’ll also explain that the problem lies not with the Constitution, but with courts’ failure to fully enforce it against bureaucrats and legislators with an insatiable appetite for power.
Neily is currently the senior attorney at the Institute for Justice, a civil liberties law firm, where he litigates economic liberty, property rights, school choice, First Amendment and other constitutional cases in both federal and state courts.
