Teens, Sexual Identity & the Church
Wednesday, June 13, 2012 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM (CDT)
Mark Yarhouse is the author of Homosexuality and the Christian: A Guide for Parents, Pastors and Friends (Bethany House, 2010). Yarhouse is a psychologist and director of the Institute for the Study of Sexual Identity at Regent University. This webinar will discuss ways in which we can work with youth who are experiencing same sex attraction, without using labels or language that might push them into places they aren't comfortable, ready or equipped to process. This discussion is not about the theology of those experiencing same sex attraction, but rather about how we can be in discussion and journey with those around us.
