Want a space to kick back, crack open a pack of Arduinos and work on wacky high-tech projects after school? MakersFactory Teen Space is the place for you! Hang out, work with, and learn from your peers, guided by MakersFactory technicians, as you explore cutting-edge technology and collaborate on a variety of projects. Teen Space members get easy access to MakersFactory machines and software (standard material and labor charges apply) Topics that may be covered include:
- LEGO Robotics NXT
- 3D Animation
- 3D Modeling
- Designing for Laser Cutting
- Video Game Design
- Designing for 3D Printing
- Minecraft Modding/Redstone/Open Play
Runs weekly from September 11th 2013 - June 11th 2-13. Clubs will not be held the last week in November, the last two weeks in December 2013, the first week in January 2014 or March 31st-April 5th 2014 (spring break).

MakersFactory is a new educational maker space in downtown Santa Cruz, CA, where students of all ages will learn and use exciting new technology for 3D printing, modeling, animation, and robotics. MakersFactory students will be able to design, prototype, and manufacture a wide variety of items, from simple 3D objects to complex mechanical/electronic products.
