Criminal Justice Council of Santa Cruz County

Behavioral Health - Criminal Justice Collaboration for a Safer, Healthier Santa Cruz County, brings together educators, law enforcement, families, youth, consumers, justice system professionals, service providers and community members to inform the development of a comprehensive continuum of services to address the behavioral health needs of individuals within the justice system of Santa Cruz County. The conference will build the capacity of stakeholders working to address issues of behavioral health and criminal justice involvement with an emphasis on evidenced based practices for prevention, intervention, treatment, and follow-up services for a broad spectrum of stakeholders that include schools, families, community members, justice system, law enforcement and policy makers. Participants will learn key elements of the local continuum of behavioral health plans for mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Participants will be encouraged to actively engage in identifying service gaps, supporting local plans and committing time and resources to ensure successful implementation of the CJC - Behavioral Health Continuum of services.

Continental breakfast, picnic style boxed lunches and afternoon refreshments will be served. Please reserve your space ASAP.

Pre-registration is required as we have limited space.
