TEDxGreenville November Salon
If you're like us, you can hardly walk through the yard without finding those interesting, brown fungi that shoot up in the oddest places. Not that all of them are edible (or even tasty, for that matter), but wouldn't it be fun to learn which ones are? Or get the skills to grow your own delectable, nutritious bunch?
Join us at Zen in downtown Greenville for a shroomlicious evening of education and fun. We'll even have a special "Apothecary Bar" serving healthy libations like mushroom-infused vodka and other goodies.

Tradd received this prize for his Mushroom Mountain, LLC, business venture. Since then, Mushroom Mountain has to continued to (no pun intended) grow; visitors can tour the farm on the weekends and hear Tradd speak on a myriad of shroom-related subjects.
When & Where
TEDxGreenville was the first independently organized TEDx event in South Carolina. It all started in 2010 when a diverse, passionate group of TED enthusiasts from around the community came together with the singular goal of bringing an educational and inspirational TED-like experience to Upstate residents.
The TEDx Program is designed to help communities, organizations and individuals to spark conversation and connection through local TED-like experiences.
At TEDxGreenville, a screening of TED Talks videos — or a combination of live presenters and TED Talks videos — sparks deep conversation and connections at the local level. TEDx events are planned and coordinated independently, under a free license granted by TED.
Now in its eighth year, the TEDxGreenville movement ignites passions and builds bridges like never before, while highlighting the incredible people and organizations that make the Upstate of South Carolina one of the best places to live on the planet. Yep, we said it. Drop the mic.
