TEDxGreenville November Salon
If you're like us, you can hardly walk through the yard without finding those interesting, brown fungi that shoot up in the oddest places. Not that all of them are edible (or even tasty, for that matter), but wouldn't it be fun to learn which ones are? Or get the skills to grow your own delectable, nutritious bunch?
Join us at Zen in downtown Greenville for a shroomlicious evening of education and fun. We'll even have a special "Apothecary Bar" serving healthy libations like mushroom-infused vodka and other goodies.
Author, Forager, Entrepreneur
In 2011, Tradd was named the Clemson University Entrepreneur of the Year by the Arthur M. Spiro Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership. Tradd received this prize for his Mushroom Mountain, LLC, business venture. Since then, Mushroom Mountain has to continued to (no pun intended) grow; visitors can tour the farm on the weekends and hear Tradd speak on a myriad of shroom-related subjects.
When & Where
TEDxGreenville was the first independently organized TEDx event in South Carolina. Now in its sixth year, the TEDxGreenville movement is igniting passions and building bridges like never before, while highlighting the incredible people and organizations that make the Upstate of South Carolina one of the best places to live on the planet. Yep, we said it.
About TEDx, where x = independently organized event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized and all done by volunteers.
