Event Details

To achieve the greatest success - both in business and in private life - you have to embrace the prospect of failure. Nobody sets out to fail at any task in which they undertake, success is the ultimate goal. The problem is that if you are afraid to fail, success is difficult to come by. Kevin Reese will be discussing his own personal failures and what he came to understand about himself and his relationships because of his past mistakes. This will be followed by an interactive discussion about how we are often wrong about what it means to be wrong.

Organizer

TEDxGreenville

TEDxGreenville was the first independently organized TEDx event in South Carolina. Now in its sixth year, the TEDxGreenville movement is igniting passions and building bridges like never before, while highlighting the incredible people and organizations that make the Upstate of South Carolina one of the best places to live on the planet.

About TEDx, where x = independently organized event

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized and all done by volunteers.
