To celebrate the launch of our new speaker/pitch series, September's theme is Female Founders! In the media we read reports wondering how to get women into entrepreneurship in greater numbers- now is your chance to meet women doing exactly that!
Techli Innovation is going to introduce St. Louis to 5 female entrepreneurs- all of whom launched their own company and are at different stages of growth.
Join us for an evening of learning and networking- we expect to sell out as only 100 tickets are available.
Here's the Entrepreneurs You'll Meet:
Jenny Dibble: Jenny Dibble is one of our two Keynote speakers this month. She successfully launched, built and exited her own startup in Seattle, Washington before relocating back to St. Louis and launching her latest endeavor, Traffic PRM. Jenny will discuss her experience as well as her latest endeavor strengthen women in the entrepreneurial ecosystem
Allison Carmen: St. Louis based Allison Carmen is the founder of Material Mix, a startup she came up with while pursuing her MBA at St. Louis University. Material Mix aims to become the "ebay of recyclables" and to further her goal, Allison has won an Arch Grant and will pitch her business to the audience.
Ellona Ferson: Chicagoan-by-way-of-Russia, Ellona Ferson is a former Real Estate Broker turned entrepreneur and is the founder of Lovendar, an app that isn't interested in helping you find love- it is targeted at couples that are IN love and helps them stay that way. Lovendar has been building buzz in Chicago and Ellona recieved an invitation to present at DEMO.
Rachel Taylor: Rachel is the founder of Convometrics, a full service media marketing agency in Chicago. Rachel successfully bootstrapped the company to its current level and will talk about bootstrapping a business vs. raising funding and how to decide when to raise (or not).
Liz Salcedo: Unlikely entrepreneur Liz Salcedo is our 2nd keynote for the evening. She got the idea for Everpurse while she was living in San Francisco with her entrepreneur husband, Dan. Prior to that, Liz worked with children as a Case manager and then Family Advocate. Liz has had offers to have her new startup bought outright but has turned down the offers to launch and grow Everpurse herself.
Everpurse is being funded through a Kickstarter campaign and, even better, Liz is going to be giving away an Everpurse to someone attending Techli Innovate! This will be your chance to get your hands on the hottest product to hit women's fashion in a long time.
