TechCrunch Disrupt: NYC May 24-26, 2010
Monday, May 24, 2010 at 7:30 AM - Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 7:30 PM (EDT)
New York, NY
TechCrunch Disrupt is a three-day, single-track conference and startup competition to immerse you in the debate about what's changing in media and technology right now, what's causing it and what we need to do about it to survive and thrive in real time.
TechCrunch Disrupt gathers the leaders and innovators of the technology and media industries to give you deep insights into the creative destruction happening right now. The big changes. And the subtle trends.
Tablet computing. Smart phones. Real-time conversations. The geo-stream. The evolution of advertising. Rich media platforms. Software in the cloud. And social media. All of these things are connected, and are converging in different ways.
We’ll bring the experts together to talk about what’s next. And why.
You’ll meet the people behind the new startups, new products and new technologies driving disruption today and be part of a conversation that will stimulate and challenge you.
Mornings sessions will explore new media and technology themes through hosted panel discussions, keynotes, roundtable conversations and select product demonstrations. And lots of audience participation.
Afternoons will be dedicated to the Startup Battlefield tournament-style launch platform. Startups go head to head to show their stuff and impress the audience and a panel of experts over multiple rounds of competition. Everyone gets stage time, but only one startup will take home a $50,000 top prize. Apply through March 26 for consideratoin.
