Ron Carcamo, President of BuyerQuest Inc.
Ron Carcamo recently joined the BuyerQuest organization as President. Before joining the BuyerQuest team Ron was the Chief Procurement Officer for Yahoo! Inc. managing a muti-billion dollar indirect spend base. Prior to Yahoo! Ron was head of procurement for Gap Inc. retail store facilities and operations responsible for 33 million square feet of real estate and $3 billion in assets. He also serves as co-chair for the Bay Area Procurement Council that consists mainly of high-tech company CPO’s representing ~$60 billion in spend. Ron has 20 years of experience in procurement, finance, and M&A activities. He has spent nearly half of his career working on international assignments (Europe, LATAM and Asia) with his most recent expatriate assignment in Tokyo as CFO for Gap Japan. During the last 6 years he has led major organization and technology transformation initiatives to drive higher value-add focus and ROI. Ron has an MBA from Pepperdine University and undergraduate degree in finance & economics.
