Parents love their kids and want to help. Yet, too often kids put up walls or barriers that shut us out. If you ever said, “I’m just trying to help”, or “I wish my kids would talk to me more”, then join in to learn how to tear down the walls that block open communication. Learn the few simple changes in your language that can make a world of difference in your ability to connect with your children.

The Morrissey-Compton Educational Center, Inc. is a nonprofit, private corporation founded in 1982 by Dr. Patricia Morrissey and Dr. Carolyn Compton. Dr. John Brentar is the Executive Director. The agency provides both diagnostic and treatment services for children and adults with learning disabilities, as well as professional consultation to agencies and community organizations.
It is the mission of Morrissey-Compton Educational Center to enable children and adults with learning disabilities and other school-related difficulties to achieve their goals by providing the highest quality diagnostic and intervention services in a supportive environment.
