Event Details

TeamCarone #ShutDownCancer Music Fest is a -21- and OVER celebration benefiting Rick and his daughters to help #‎ShutDownCancer. All proceeds will go towards local charities and families along with scholarships and enhancements to Cary Grove High School. Local music artist Althea Grace Band will kick off the day along with Nashville recording newcomer JB Aaron and evening entertainment will feature live music from Nashville recording artists; Benton BlountBrushville, and Andy Griggs. A live and silent auction including trips, signed gear and memorabilia from the outdoors, music, and sports worlds, and a helicopter ball drop. Please see the schedule of events at the bottom of this page. Special guests include Buck Commander's own-Grant Taylor and Three time Superbowl Champion and Three Time Pro-Bowl Left Tackle from the New England Patriots, Matt Light along with suprise visits from some special friends.

The event will be MC'd by Chicago Radio personality from B96 Rebecca Ortiz and locally renowned stand up comedian/ER Doctor Maurice Loeffel III.

The event will take place at Bob Wegener’s Farm in Prairie Grove, IL (yes, it's really Prairie Grove even though Eventbrite says McHenry). Attendees MUST pre-purchase tickets or will not be able to attend due to state-mandated and property owner restrictions.

There are many ticket and sponsorship options available.  Each paid ticket includes all-u-can eat and all-u-can drink water/soda/beer and comes with Team Carone cap, silicone wristband, and Cary For Carone cinch sack. (team-carone.myshopify.com for images of merchandise). Casual attire is strongly suggested.

Handicap parking and ADA-compliant restrooms will be available/provided.

For those traveling from out of town, room blocks are available through the Crystal Lake Holiday Inn at a special rate of $118/night for either a King or Double/Double guest room. Guests can make reservations by calling the hotel directly at 815-477-7000 and request a room under our group block with #66087258 double or #66094193 king. We also have rooms blocked at the Hampton Inn McHenry. $109/night-Includes breakfast. Block listed under Team Carone. For reservations call (815) 578-1900
