Dr. Cari Cannon is a professor and department chair at Santiago Canyon College, where she teaches Introduction to Psychology, Child Psychology, Biological Psychology, Psychology and Effective Behavior, and Research Methods. She attended a community college before getting a B.A. at UCLA and a Ph.D. in experimental psychology at Washington State University. She also did a postdoctoral fellowship at Duke University. Dr. Cannon is the author of the contrarian guidebook: How to Flunk Out of a Community College: 101 Surefire Strategies that Guarantee Failure. Dr. Cannon was named the Orange County Teacher of the Year in 2009.
