NEW YORK, NY (JUNE 11, 2013) – On June 21st, New York City educators are invited to attend “TEACHERS NIGHT OUT,” a free dance party to celebrate the end of the school year at Element night club (http://www.elementny.com/) on the Lower East Side.
“Teachers Night Out” was organized by Jason Gordon, who simply wanted to say thank you to his wife, a teacher, her colleagues and the rest of the amazing educators in New York City. Working with the great people at Element, the club enthusiastically volunteered to open its doors for a very special after-school dance party on June 21st, where educators could celebrate the end of another amazing school year.
Educators will be treated to a free dance party where DJ Matte (Resident DJ at Pianos and Gin Palace) will be spinning everything from Top 40 hits to 80’s and 90’s favorites.
Jason Gordon is an account director at PKPR where he has represented many great New York City organizations, including Arts Brookfield, Internet Week New York, and Fractured Atlas. Previously, he worked in publishing where he led campaigns for Barack Obama’s Dreams From My Father and Alex Kotlowitz’ Never A City So Real. He was also the creator of SiriusXM’s Blog Radio and Product Shop NYC, which the Village Voice named “Best Local Music Blog” in 2004.
From the candlelit brick walls of the Mezzanine, to the soaring ceilings of the Main Room, down to the Romanesque archways of the Vault, Element is one of the most stunning venues in New York City. This tri-level nightlife playground is a marvel of form and function, featuring three full-service bars, a VIP mezzanine, and seductive lounge spaces. The main floor is crafted for a single purpose - dancing! On Element's vast hardwood dance floor, crystal clear tones flow from a monster 36,000 Watt, world-class sound system, transforming even the most timid soul into a frenzied exhibitionist.
Built originally as a bank in the late 19th century, this structure has been home and studio to famous artist, Jasper Johns; a legendary Goth Club; a Hip-Hop Danceateria; and a seedy strip joint. Following extensive restoration and infrastructure upgrades, it is now home to Element, the new standard in nightlife luxury. Element embodies New York City – it is global, stylish, chic and sexy with a rich sense of history.
