Teacher Librarian Day 2014:

New Networks

Teaching with Primary Sources at the Metropolitan State University of Denver in conjunction with History Colorado are proud to announce the 10th annual Teacher Librarian Day on Friday February 28th, 2014.

This year we are again adopting a very successful format deployed at the world-renown TED conference.  The format will consist of a suite of short, carefully prepared talks, demonstrations and performances on a varying range of subjects to foster learning, inspiration and wonder -- and to provoke conversations that matter.

The theme for the day will be New Networks with the intention of exploring involvement with unlikely networks to create new understandings and connections.  Presentations will cover a wide range of topics, but will be focused though the lens of using primary sources in the classroom with an emphasis on inquiry, assessment, Common Core and other standards, and the use of technology in the classroom.

We will once again be offering an optional .5 hours of graduate credit through Adams State University.  NEWClick here for online registration

Update - The Sub reimbursement limit has been reached for this event.
