Memorable libations with a bunch of characters!
This is the 18th Tweet-Up for #TDHK (Twitter Drinking Hong Kong), which we hope to continue as a monthly event for people on Twitter and other social networks to meet in real life over a happy hour drink and more than 140 characters!
We have hosted concerts, cupcake tasting and speed dating, now #TDHK showcases the first Twitter play in Hong Kong.
"Part theatre experience and part social media experiment. #HKproblems_theplay invites the audience to keep the mobile phones and tablets on and live tweet their experiences during the show thus becoming part of the show it's-self. Based on the popular twitter feed #hkproblems it explores issues that all #hongkong people have felt frustration over such as: dating, language barriers, umbrella dodging, politics, people who stand on the left side of the escalator, and much much more. Mainly presented in English with moments of other languages to reflect the melting pot. Heavy drinking encouraged. People without senses of humor not permitted. Adult language and content."
This month, we are taking the party to the KOWLOON side! Come on out to Dada Bar + Lounge for drinks (Free canepé and Happy Hour deals). Buy a drink for yourself and one for your Twitter friend that you've never met IRL before.
Tweet "I'm at #DadaBar for #TDHK" to get a speical Dada Shot on the house!
All are welcome - Twitter, Weibo, Facebook, Instagram, Google+ but no MySpace people please (unless you are Tom Anderson!!)
