TB Today: Integrating Knowledge with Practice

The purpose of this training is to provide clinicians with comprehensive information on the management and treatment of TB. Topics will include epidemiology, transmission & pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of TB, TB in children and adolescents, multi-drug resistant tuberculosis, TB/HIV co-infection, surgical treatment of TB, infection control, and key aspects of patient management. The format includes lectures, discussions, small group work, and case studies.
This conference is designed for healthcare providers who are involved in the care of persons with TB infection or disease. Public health nurses, community health workers, infection control nurses, case managers, discharge planners, and community providers are welcome to attend.
