Their exceptional journey began when they decided to enter a music competition, nonetheless, not just a typical arena where bands put on their best gig. They had to write a new song that would feature a television advertisement. The song was a success and they got back home with the first prize award as a guarantee.
Not only had their music caught the attention of listeners, it also the newly-established independent record label, Small Room, whose name is renowned for producing newcomers. For a few years of working in the studio, the first ever album called “Hong Ser” (which is spoonerism of the word “Her Song”) was released to the music industry. The album features magnificent hits like Fha (Sky), Fak Tee (Keep it),which gained good response from fans to the point that they had to release more singles like “Koh Rang” (Deserted island), One Night Standand“Roy Joob” (Kiss mark).
During the tour throughout the nation for years, the group decided to put on their thinking hats again and moved to a new label “Smallroom”. The result is the release of their second album “Choodtee 8 (Jong Pror)” (No. 8 – be nice). The album is mainly based on variety pop and easy-listening songs featuring superb guitar section and the mellow voice of lead singer. Their first single and MV is called “Kar Moo” (Pork knuckle), followed by “Jum Tam Mai” (Don’t Know Why?) that was shot in one long take, and another recommended track “Kor Hok” (Liar), which its MV features special gimmick that everyone would have a smile on their faces when seeing it.
In October 2010, Tattoo Colour has released the album entitled "Trong Naew Naew"; which packed with 10 tracks in the band's personal style of music. The group has, firstly, sent out the 4th track from this album called "Lub Sood Yod" (Secret) for the waiting fans to listen. This upbeat song communicates another perspective about love which seems to be the top secret of all since there are always things we cannot figure out about it. After promoting the 2nd track from the album, it is time for the group to send out another fast-tempo piece called “Yorm Laew” (White Flag) with the fun and playful lyrics about the guy who is ready to raise the white flag for his girlfriend; he is willing to do anything to make it up for the mistakes he did in the past. For the music video of this song, the band went all the way to London for the shooting; it is another fun and creative piece which includes all the members and the actor wandering around the town to just have some fun.
