Event Details

Jon Bonné, Wine Editor, San Francisco Chronicle; Author, The New California Wine

Bonné brings us the untold story of the California wine industry. From the front lines of the California wine revolution, he shares the fascinating stories, philosophies and techniques of the innovative producers who are rewriting the rules of contemporary winemaking. Learn more about their quest to express the uniqueness of California terroir and the continuing battle to move the state away from the overly technocratic, reactionary practices of its recent past. Meet some of these iconoclastic young winemakers who are changing the face of California viniculture and taste some of the finest wines from the Santa Cruz Mountains.

Thanks to our generous donors Alfaro Family Vineyards and Winery, Ridge Vineyards, Varner Wines and Cabot Creamery.

Location: Schultz Cultural Hall, Oshman Family JCC, 3921 Fabian Way, Palo Alto
Time: 6:30 p.m. check-in, 7-8 p.m. program, wine tasting and book signing
