Tastes of Congress Tour
Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM (EST)
Portlanders are lucky to have such great restaurants to explore. National media sources are constantly writing about the remarkable quality of food that comes out of such a tiny city. Nowhere is this quality more exemplified than in the restaurants that line Portland's Congress Street.
Located further away from the typical tourist stops, these restaurants have to produce the kind of food that will make locals want to return time and time again. Join Portland Taste Tours as we stop at four of these great spots to sample their food and get to know the chefs behind them.
Where exactly are we going?
We'll be meeting at 7 pm at MJ's Wine Bar at One City Center, and finishing Further up Congress Street at Oak Street, to keep in mind for parking.
What if I have a dietary restriction?
Please keep checking our website at www.portlandtastetours.com as we'll be scheduling tours for various dietary needs in the future.
What are my parking options for the event?
Parking is on street, but it's after 6pm so you don't have to feed the meters!
What should I wear?
This is a walking tour, so wear shoes you are comfortable standing and walking in. As for attire, wear whatever you feel comfortable going out to dinner in.
What about drinks?
Drinks are outside of the ticket price. We encourage guests to use cash to keep the momentum of the evening going.
Gratuity for food is included in the ticket price. You are welcome to add to that if you are satisfied with your experience.
Tickets may be refunded up to 48 hours before the event date.
