Friends of TALICA are hosting a wine tasting event overlooking the beautiful Atlanta skyline!

We are extremely honored to have two local garden chefs, Megan McCarthy and Christina Curry preparing an assortment of exquisite tastings that will compliment a variety of summer wines.

$55 per person - Please reserve your space soon, we only have 50 available tickets.

TALICA: The Teaching and Learning Initiative for Central America

TALICA:  The Teaching and Learning Initiative for Central America is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding the access to basic educational materials and promoting international educational partnerships that will improve the overall access to education throughout Central America.

Accomplishments to date:

Since 2007, TALICA has empowered over 60 dedicated Nicaraguan educators by collaborating with, purchasing and delivering over 4000 textbooks, reference materials, and other critical teaching aids to 8 public school and 2 community libraries on the island of Ometepe in Lake Nicaragua.  

TALICA is currently supporting 2 university scholarship recipients from the extremely isolated communities of Merida and La Palma on the island of Ometepe located in Lake Nicaragua.
