On December 5, 2013, Amber Meneghello, student at IPFW’s hospitality department and Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship will be hosting an event called “Taste of the World”. This night will consist of great food and entertainment. We will be having performances from international students on campus as well as a Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship worship team. We will also be having food from different countries showcased at the event. The event will start at 6:30 p.m. and end at 9:00 p.m. Please come and enjoy this wonderful experience with two IPFW organizations!
The Hospitality Management Association (HMA) is focused on helping hospitality students become involved on campus and to take tours to better their understanding of the hospitality industry. The HMA has been very involved with helping local organizations with event planning and support. Some organizations that have been helped are: Big Brothers Big Sisters, Erin’s house, Habitat for Humanity and other clubs on campus.
Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship is focused on reconciling students to Christ as a community who is devoted to Christ and His mission. Endeavoring to reach, teach, equip, Chi Alpha has been training students in Biblical study, character and leadership skills, helping them be a positive influence in their university and community. Chi Alpha serves by praying for IPFW students, helping to meet emotional and spiritual needs, taking mission trips and partnering with local organizations and churches to accomplish their goals.
