Talking Chemistry: Optical Resolution Modelling in DynoChem

In this webinar, Dr Wilfried Hoffmann will discuss how classical resolution of optical active amine compounds via the different solubility of diastereomeric acid salts can be extended by using a mixture of optically active acids or a dibasic acid. And will present a template DynoChem model of this.
The mechanistic model will enable calculation of the best ratio of acid to amine for an optimum resolution by describing the resolution of an amine with a dibasic acid as a function of pKa of the amines and the acid, and the solubility of the different salts.
