Event Details

More than 250 people joined us in 2012 for this series of DynoChem modules for chemists that were aimed at beginners, starting from scratch with only a basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.

This is your chance to attend the sessions live, each week from Monday 25 February until Monday 25 March.

Register for any session and you will be kept informed by email about each of the others.

You can choose whether to attend at 9.30AM CENTRAL EUROPEAN TIME (UTC+1 hour) and/or 9.30AM US EASTERN TIME (UTC-5 hours).  Click here to check the corresponding local time that is best for you.

All modules are led by Dr Wilfried Hoffmann, Principal Consultant - Process ChemistryNo hands-on access to DynoChem is required to attend or benefit from the modules.  Hands-on access between modules is usfeul to complete homework exercises.

Event audio will be available via your computer speakers and headset.  If attending using your own computer, check your setup here.

Registration is open to DynoChem customers and prospective customers from industry, academia and government.

Summary of Modules (one per week):

Module 2: Addition of a side reaction, the introduction of a yield calculation, more advanced functions of the Simulator: View Recording

Module 3: Entering experimental data and the fitting of isothermal and non-isothermal rate constants: View Recording

Module 4: More details about entering chemical reactions and rate laws into DynoChem: View Recording

Module 5: Addition of a feed, introduction of physical properties (different temperatures and specific heats of feed and reactor)
