Please join us for a discussion with current enforcement chief for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Cynthia Giles. Cynthia is a Berkeley Law graduate ('78).
Ms. Giles was nominated by President Obama in 2009 as head of EPA Enforcement and Compliance Assurance and was confirmed by the Senate in May 2009. She will speak to a small group of law students about EPA's current work on "Next Generation Environmental Compliance." She will also share insights on her career and stories from her time at Berkeley Law and as a member of Ecology law Quarterly. You can read more about her in this Berkeley Law feature.
