Thursday, November 7, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm
Peter Rubin, Founder of Masters of the Leap
Feeling bored, underutilized, and suffocated at the office? Thinking about quitting your 9 to 5 to work full-time on your startup? Have ideas, passion, and creativity but don't know whether you can make a living as a full-time entrepreneur?
In this two-hour community class, you will explore whether (and when) it makes sense to "Take the Leap" and become your own boss. This class is for talented young professionals who are seriously considering quitting their day jobs to pursue work they love.
Peter Rubin guides young professionals from their soul-sucking jobs to the freedom of being their own boss. In 2008, he graduated in the top 5% of his engineering class at Stanford and landed a dream internship at IDEO. Soon after, he "Took the Leap" and joined spinoff design firm Daylight as employee #1. In 2011, he leapt againand founded the Reinvention Circle, a global community with clients in Singapore and Dubai. Today, as a speaker, coach, and founder of Masters of the Leap, Peter works exclusively with young professionals who are embarking on their first startup journey.
