Da-Guan Theatre, a performing troupe established under the auspices of the Department of Dance, National Taiwan University of Arts will be performing in the 2012 North America Taiwanese Heritage Week.

This dance troupe has been touring the world performing for this annual program.

Titled “Fantastic Taiwan 101,” the program has 10 individual performances that feature traditional Taiwanese choreography, martial arts, and contemporary dance, as well as aborigines’ culture in Taiwan.

Local performing troupes including Taiyin Choir and IBPS NC Youth Orchestra will be special guests.

The Sister Cities of Cary cosponsors this event with the Overseas Compatriot Affairs Commission, Republic of China, in order to promote multicultural understanding for residents in the RTP area.
