Tails and Rails – Tech Innovation for Pets and People

Mashable and Purina are co-hosting “Tails and Rails” a hack-a-thon bringing together technologists who want to build a better life for pets.

Tails and Rails is a one-day event dedicated to building programs and apps that help people better understand what their pets want and need.

We’re looking to develop applications for pet food, pet adoption and pet recreation.

Participants will present their ideas and creations to a panel of judges. The top three winners will receive a cash prize.

We invite all participants to bring their canine friends!

The day will be filled with coding, networking, pet enthusiasts and experts, and dogs!
