Dr. Ching Ching Chi is a PhD Graduate of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University and Licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in the state of California. She is a student of Professors Fan Yongsheng, Fang Benzheng, and Wang Juyi, most distinguished acupuncture physicians and herbalists in China. She is specialized in integrative medicine, combining Traditional Chinese Medicine with Conventional Medicine protocols in the fields of pain management, diabetes management and its complication, stroke rehabilitation, alleviating the side effects of cancer treatment and autoimmune disease(SLE, MS, Sjögren’s syndrome…), skin problems (Eczema, Psoriasis, Urticaria).
She is currently teaching Acupuncture Channel theory, TCM foundation, and TCM History and philosophy in Five Branches University. She is also the Director of the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Masters Chinese Program at Five Branches.
Mr. Xin Huang is a student of Taichi Master Guangzhao Li. He has great interests in Traditional Chinese Culture that includes Taichi and Traditional Chinese Medicine. He realized that Taichi and TCM have same roots that can be traced back to the I Ching, Tao Te Ching and Huangdi Neijing. Trained as an engineer, Xin felt that the theories in these ancient Chinese classics are not mysteries or hard to understand – they are actually well-defined and can be verified with real results. The Taichi Standing Meditation can be a very effective way to help busy professionals to relax their body and mind. Xin would like to share the Taichi training methods he learned from Master Guangzhao Li. He will also share his experience in using the Standing Meditation to improve health, to deal with jet lag, and to help emotional well being, etc. Xin got his BS in Electronic Engineering from Tsinghua University in Beijing in 1994, an MS in Electrical Engineering from UT Austin in 1998, and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley in 2006.
