From idea to launch in 5 weeks.
Kids work in small groups and one-on-one with entrepreneurial mentors to take a business idea from idea to execution. Mentors will cover the basics of starting a business, and each student will leave with a completed business action plan.
The program concludes with a kid’s “Shark Tank” style pitch competition in front of an expert panel. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 business plans.

(Program limited to 20 students)
4 in-person sessions over 5 weeks with business mentors to create a business action plan. Students will receive homework assignments to be completed each week in advance of the session.
All participants will complete the program with a business action plan.
Week 1: Monday, June 23, 2014—Concept/business idea
Week 2: Monday, June 30, 2014—Product line/pricing
Week 3: Monday, July 7, 2014—Holiday break
Week 4: Monday, July 14, 2014—Marketing/Target audience
Week 5: Monday, July 21, 2014—Finance/revenue/funding
Lunch and snacks provided during the sessions. Doors open for drop-off at 9am. Pick up must be completed by 1:30pm.
