Missional church is not simply the latest fad. It’s rooted in the trinitarian character of God and the story of the Bible. Join Together for Adoption and Tim Chester for a pre-conference event in Phoenix as we explore the foundations for shaping life around gospel, community and mission along with practical application for church life and the implications for orphan care.
Date: Thursday, October 20, 2011
Time: 9:00 AM – 4:15 PM
Location: Redemption Church (Gilbert Campus)
Cost: $25 Per Person (lunch included).
Dr. Tim Chester is a church planter with The Crowded House in Sheffield, UK, and co-director of The Porterbrook Network, which seeks to train people for church planting. He’s the author of more than a dozen books, including Good News to the Poor, You Can Change, and Total Church: A Radical Reshaping around Gospel and Community, co-written with Steve Timmis. One of Tim’s most recent books is A Meal with Jesus: Discovering Grace, Community, and Mission around the Table.
