Event Details

Event Description:

We’ll demonstrate how Project Server 2013 is used to manage programs - a frequently misunderstood aspect of the toolset. Specifically this will include:
• Making the Project Centre “Program Friendly”
• Managing inter-project dependencies and the program-level critical path with Master Projects
• Deliverables – The inter-project dependency alternative
• What about Risks, Issues and Documents – Where and how do we manage these?

Learning Objectives:

During this event, students will learn how to use Metadata to create a virtual program.  How to associate a physical program with a virtual program to support management of artefacts at the program level. How to use the frequently misunderstood Deliverables list on the project site.

Presenter:

Dan Stopher is a senior consultant at EPM Partners, Australia. Dan has a strong background in project management and IT. He has worked with Microsoft’s EPM tools since MS Project Central was released in 2000, and has provided training in MS Project to thousands of users.
