Present Project Server of EPM and Financial Management. It discusses how Microsoft Project Server can help you meet common business-driven requirements, such as project finance, through integration with other applications, customisation, or using other solutions. 

Learning Objectives: 

  • How does Project Server plan and track cost performance to ensure that each project is delivered within budget and realises the forecasted benefits?
  • The challenges faced when financial data is spread across multiple systems (like SAP, Finance1 or Oracle) and the best-practice integrations that address them.
  • Data from other systems into Project Server or Data from Project Server into other systems, what kind of values usually go each way and what are the pros and cons for each way


About the Presenter: 

Laith Adel

Laith is a Principal Consultant of EPM Partners in Australia. Laith has strong background in Engineering, Project Management and Information Technology. Laith has worked with the Microsoft Enterprise Project Management (EPM) solution, since its early versions, and participated in many of the largest EPM implementations across the world. Laith is also the chapter leader of the Microsoft Project Users Group (MPUG) in Sydney.
