Join us for an afternoon of learning, good food and fun with Mrs. Andrea Phillips-Merriman as we prepare an authentic Guyianese dish with accompaniments.
Main: Pepperpot (meat - beef)
Sides: Plantain foo-foo and green salad with avacodos
Dessert: Soursop ice-cream
Additional: Sorrel drink
Costs covers food, guest cook, nibbles and drink
What should I bring to the event?
Please bring the printed ticket to the event. Feel free to also bring a notepad to write down any tips captured during the discussion. Recipies for each dish will be shared after the class.

When & Where
Sweet Savoring conducts cultural cooking workshops and sells assorted homemade jams, jellies and desserts. The idea for Sweet Savoring grew from a love of travel, food, tradition, and fond memories of helping out in the kitchen. The goal of our cooking workshops is to provide a platform to connect generations with cultural learning, good food, and fun. Participants learn how to cook a three-course meal, get first-hand information about different cultures and countries all while socializing and meeting like-minded people.
