Throughout the country and here in South Carolina, we are seeing a shift in terms of how we nourish ourselves. During this Sustainable Conservation, Elizabeth Beak of Crop Up will explore the role urban agriculture can play in cultivating greener, healthier, and more sustainable cities.
Crop Up is a consulting practice that focuses on community-based food projects throughout South Carolina. Crop Up partners with the growing number of individuals, neighborhoods, designers, businesses, schools, municipalities, non-prots, and state agencies responding to their community’s food needs with resilient acts: home victory gardens, neighborhood community gardens, zoning ordinances, urban farms, or access to markets.
