Supporting People Living with HIV
Monday, October 17, 2011 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM (PDT)
The Foster Youth Alliance and Seneca Center are pleased to present Supporting People Living with HIV. A physician, social worker, and peer educator will provide practical
information on the biological, social, and psychological aspects of HIV
for non-healthcare professionals who want to provide better support to
people living with HIV.
Downtown Youth Clinic provides HIV primary care and prevention services to youth ages 13-24 regardless of insurance status. DYC is a "clinic without walls," emphasizing access to care, a youth-specific approach to care, and energetic outreach. For more information, check out their website at www.downtownyouth.org.
