Super Recogniser Pre-conference Workshop
This workshop will discuss the difficulties surrounding 'expert evidence'. This event is organised by The Open University.
Dr Martin Thirkettle from The Open University will start the session with a focus on 'what does it mean to be an expert?' He will discuss his work with radiographers.
Dr Ailsa Strathie from The Open University, will discuss her research on issues surrounding facial mapping methods.
Dr Michael Bromby from Glasgow Caledonian University will finish with a discussion on the legal issues surrounding the use of 'expert evidence' in Scottish Courts.
Tea and coffee will be available on arrival.
