Abstract:  Sometimes deviations from the evenness and uniform smoothness of UV/EB cured surfaces may be an indication of an imperfect coating process. Examples of such deviations include orange peel, peaks, craters, fish eyes and pinholes--most are related to variations in surface tension.  To prevent or reduce such defects, flow and leveling additives are used.  In this webinar we will discuss how appropriate radiation cure formulations with surface tension modifying additives can result in excellent paint surfaces meeting the most demanding customer specifications.
