The Suncoast Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area (CISMA) is hosting two professionals to discuss aquatic invaders. Jeffrey E. Hill, PhD, Associate Professor of Fisheries Aquatic Sciences at the University of Florida will present on Florida's invasive fish. Following his presentation, Jenn Bernatis, PhD, Biological Scientist II with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will talk specifically about the invasive applesnails of Florida.

Suncoast CISMA's mission is to address the threat to native diversity within the Suncoast Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area by coordinating and increasing efforts to eliminate or reduce invasive, non-native plants and animals across public and private boundaries.
