Its time to enjoy the season's bounty and this class will feature a menu that is quick, easy and very delicious. Our ingredients will focus on the seasonal crops that makes California such a wonderful spot.
Calimari Salad - Lose your fear of cooking calimari as we'll make a great salad that features our sea dwelling friends from Monterey. You'll put your knife skills to work in preparing the onions, cucumbers and tomatoes for this refreshing salad.
Sweet Corn Fritters - Summertime is when corn is at its peak and we'll take ours off the cob to create some great fritters mixed with other seasonal vegetables. You wont be able to stop eating them with a roasted pepper remoulade.
Pork Loin with Cherries and Mushrooms - This is a luxurious dish that features a brined pork chop an pairs it beautifully with ripe juicy cherries. We'll add in mushrooms for the sauce to add an earthy note to the dish.
Summer Squash with Red Qunioa - The vibrant colors of squash meets up with the slight crunchy texture of quinoa in this side dish that may as well be your main course.
Peach Cobbler - We need not say more.....well, maybe some ice cream would go great with this.
