Summer Solstice Party – 2014
Saturday, June 21, 2014 from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM (EDT)
Come walk the yellow carpet and join The Solar Foundation for its annual solar celebration, Summer Solstice 2014, on June 21st from 7-11 PM.
This year's event will be held on the panoramic rooftop of the international law firm Jones Day. TSF's Summer Solstice will attract some of the most interesting and influential clean energy-minded individuals from across the nation. Awards, raffles, music, games, drinks, food and fun will keep the festivities going as we watch the sun set on the longest day of the year – June 21!
Be sure to mark your calendar for June 21st because, in addition to TSF's Summer Solstice, organizations across the country will be holding community rallies to show their support for solar. As part of this nationwide effort, supporters can show their love for solar by using the hashtag #PutSolarOnIt. To cap off this day of solar awareness, Billy Parish of Mosaic will be speaking at TSF's Summer Solstice. Don't miss it!
Also in attendance will be representatives from DC SUN who can help match attendees with residential solar group purchasing opportunities.
Proceeds from the Summer Solstice support The Solar Foundation's continued research and education efforts. If you like our National Solar Jobs Census series, our State Solar Jobs Map, and our other efforts related to the solar workforce, local government policy outreach, and schools, show your support by buying a ticket and becoming a sponsor!
The dress code is smart summer cocktail.
