Event Details

Join the Utah State Library for this workshop presenting the 2014 Summer Reading Program on a science theme (science experiments, machines, sci-fi, steampunk, robots, future).  Discover the 2014 theme, pick up your manual, and learn how to do some fun programs, crafts, games, and activities. Be sure to bring your sense of humor and desire for adventure. Rhonda will also present segments on the teen and adult themes.
  • Children: Fizz, Boom, Read!
  • Teens: Spark a Reaction!
  • Adult: Literary Elements

Location: Utah State Library, Auditorium, Room 217

Audience: Public library staff that manage Summer Reading programs

Instructor: Rhonda Gould, Children's Librarian and CSLP Summer Reading trainer

Bring: binder for your manual, paper and pencil for notes, scissors, markers, and glue stick

Mileage reimbursement is available to individuals traveling over 50 miles one way.
