Event Details

Join our Annual Summer Reading Program.  Our theme this year is "DIG IN" to a good book!

ALL ages are encouraged to read this summer.  KIDS sixth grade and under, keep track of the number of minutes you read daily.  We ask for a minimum of 30 per day.  TEENS and ADULTS keep track of numbers of pages read.

Starting June 12, reading logs are available at the library for record keeping.  Read all summer and in August we will award a GRAND PRIZE for each age level, children through sixth grade, teens and adults.  It is a FLIP VIDEO CAMERA so you can make your own videos!

PROGRAMS:

Wed. June 12 10:30 am - 11:30 am    AUSTIN REPTILE SHOW

Wed. June 19 10:30 am - 11:30 am    MAD SCIENCE

Wed. June 26 10:30 am - 11:30 am    BIG RIG PETTING ZOO

Wed. July 3      10:30 am - 11:30 am    JOE MCDERMOTT Childrens Musician

*signing up is NOT a commitment to attend each of the free events listed above, although we'd love to see you at them.  It is simply our method to attempt to have enough product/snack/materials available for the entire program, along with participatory numbers.
