Description

This class was so popular and sold out so fast we are offering it yet again! In this hands-on class you will learn how to blind-bake a single crust, and make a double-crusted fruit pie, as well as cookie crusted, cream pies.


Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance of class in which you are registered. In extenuating circumstances where you are unable to attend the class and have not given advanced notification you may use the credit towards a class at a later date, or lose the credit entirely.

Terryl Gavre has been talking to anyone who will listen about opening a bakery for about the last ten years. She opened her first restaurant, Café 222 in 1992, in the Marina District of downtown San Diego. Over the past 20 years Café 222 has become a breakfast institution and has been featured on the Food Network several times as well as appeared in many local and national publications.

In 2010 Gavre teamed with Chef Carl Schroeder to open the popular neighborhood eatery Bankers Hill Bar + Restaurant.

At Bake Sale Bakery Terryl combines her enthusiasm for hand-crafted foods and local product with her love of sweets and bread making.

Terryl is a former food writer, part time gardener, full time mother, arm chair Psychologist, lusty eater, lover of all things with mayonnaise, and spends her entire day thinking about what she is going to have for dinner.
