Has your older kid or young teen expressed an interest in film acting? Maybe even has a little experience either in short movies or school plays? Maybe he or she wants to pursue it professionally or just wants to have some fun?
Now what? Well, this.
The Summer Film Acting Camp for Kids and Teens (8-16 years old) is week long progam that immerses young actors in audition techniques, monologues, cold reads, scene work, on-camera techniques, and an incredible way to learn lines quickly. Mostly, though, your kid or teen will dicover how to be him- or herself when the camera rolls and they'll never feel the need to overact again.
See, the secret to great film acting is to stop acting and start being! For most kids, it means learning how to be themselves when the camera is rolling and to stay away from all the over-acting that makes most adults cringe!
There will be lots of fun, acting games, and on-camera training.
Kids should pack a healthy lunch and be ready to go! Electronic devices to be kept off except during breaks and lunch.
