ITK is back with our 5th year of fantastic summer camps where your kids get to cook different meals every day. We never have the same recipe twice, so you're kids will have a new experience each week.
Our chef instructors will lead the class each day through 5-6 recipes based upon a theme of the week. Once assembled, the kids will get a quick lesson on food safety, proper hygiene, then its off to begin prep. The next few hours will focus on creating each recipe from scratch and ends with the kids enjoying the meal together.
Week 1 - June 23-26th - Kids Movies
We'll cook food from kids favorites movies on each day.
Monday - Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs - Our day will consist of Spaghetti (which we'll make by hand) Meatballs, Taco (diles) and Shrimp(anzees). We'll end our meal with Apple Pie-thons!
Tuesday - Frozen - From the great Scandinavian countries we'll create the following: Crispy crunchy fish sticks, Swedish Sausage and Potato Cakes, Pickled Cucumber Salad, Pancakes, and Ligonberry Tart.
Wednesday - The Lorax - Trufulla Trees (Broccoli with Parmesan), Swomee Swans (chicken cutlets), Marshmallows and Carrots, Gluppity Glup Sandwiches (sloppy joes), and Bean (poles). Finally we'll have Berry Parfaits for dessert.
Thursday - Monsters Inc will provide us inspiration for a variety of recipes. Mike Wazowski Kohlrabi salad. Deep fried Squid Tentacles with Lemon and Garlic Aioli, Sushi Rolls, Squid Ink Pasta and Boo Berry Tarts.
Cost is $300 for the week or $80 per day. Early drop off is available at 9am for $10 extra. Late pick up (3pm) is available also at $10 extra.
