When & Where
AFRL Discovery Lab
Discovery Lab, a partnership of the Wright Brothers Institute and Air Force Research Laboratory, brings together multidisciplinary, joint teams into the Tec^Edge environment for a period of a few weeks to one or more years, allowing for intense collaboration on a specific challenge or opportunity.
Sponsors include government, university, small business, and industry researchers. Discovery Lab is the home of the Summer-at-the-Edge (SATE) and Year-at-the-Edge (YATE) Student Intern Program that bring high school to Ph.D. students together with research sponsors from across the nation.
These research connections are further facilitated by the virtual reality Virtual Discovery Center to help generate future resident projects. For more information visit http://wbi-icc.com/centers-services/discovery-lab
