EnterpriseWorks Chicago presents Summer 2014 Startup Series
Three times a year, EnterpriseWorks Chicago, as part of the Innovate@UIC initiative, offers the Startup Series. The next round of this series starts on June 2, 2014 from 4pm – 6pm. This series is designed to guide and refresh entrepreneurs and innovators through the complex arena of venture commercialization. The Startup Series provides an introduction to legal, financial, and business planning issues when forming a new venture. Ten topics are presented weekly by subject matter experts and designed to reach a broad audience while creating a community environment for productive networking. Presentations are structured as a “fire side chat” and allow for question and answers. These discussions are provided as a means to introduce a new vocabulary and spark conversation around issues entrepreneurs and innovators need to consider during venture creation.
