Note: All participants in the 2011 Navy SEAL Fitness Challenge must sign a second insurance waiver from the United States Navy. You can download the waiver now, to submit at event check-in. Minors (17 & under) are encouraged to print out the waiver and have the document signed by a guardian prior to the event. Participants must be 13 years or older to register for this event.

The Navy SEAL Fitness Challenge is a new event to the 2011 SUBWAY Washington Games, taking place at the Everett Naval Station. The Fitness Challenge is a series of physical fitness events challenging athletes to maximize their performance in individual tests of strength and endurance. It closely mirrors the initial physical screening test given to anyone who desires to become a SEAL.
The challenge consists of:
|- 500 Yard Swim:||12:30 minutes||10:00 minutes|
|- 1.5 Mile Run:||11:00 minutes||10:00 minutes|
Competitors will be scored and ranked against each other to identify their fitness level in each age/gender category. Monitors will be ensuring that these scores are accurate. Waves of participants will be in 1 1/2 hour increments.
