Stulsaft Park Restoration Workday
Acterra invites community members to join us at Stulsaft Park for a restoration workday! We will be removing invasive plants to restore the unique habitat and rare plants that exist within Stulsaft Park. All ages are welcome.
Attendees are also welcome to stay after to enjoy the hiking trails, visit the playground and picnic.
Who: All ages welcome. Minors under 18 require a signed waiver in order to volunteer, and 12-year-olds require an accompanying adult.
What: Volunteers will help remove invasive plants from the creek banks. We will also talk about the unique habitats and rare plants found within the park and the importance of our restoration efforts.
Where: Meet at Stulsaft Park, 3700 Farm Hill Blvd. You will see a playground and bathrooms. First, we will be gathering there and then head out to our work site. Attendees are encouraged to walk, carpool and bike.
Parking: Parking is available along Farm Hill Blvd.
When: Saturday, June 21 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Please bring: A reusable water bottle, sun protection, and dress for outdoor work (sturdy shoes, long pants, and hat recommended). We provide gloves and tools.
