Student-Neighbor Relations 2014 Mixer & Porch Light Campaign Kickoff
Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM (PST)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Join neighbors, students and representatives from UC Berkeley and the City of Berkeley for the Student-Neighbor Relations 2014 Mixer and the launch of the ASUC's “Keep Your Porch Light On” campaign.
We are pleased to invite representatives from neighborhood associations and student leaders from the Greek and cooperative communities as well as representatives from the residence halls to mingle and discuss safety on the Southside. Also in attendance will be representatives from the Berkeley City Manager's Office, Police and Fire Departments, UC Police Department, and other relevant city and university staff. The ASUC External Affairs Vice President’s Office in partnership with the City of Berkeley and the office of Government and Community Relations are hosting the event.
The Mixer will also be used to kick off the ASUCʼs “Keep Your Porch Light On” campaign, which is a joint effort with the City and UC Berkeley to make sure our streets are better lit. Safety and sustainability tips and resources will be distributed, including compact fluorescent light bulbs courtesy of PG&E.
Refreshments will be provided.
No need to bring a paper ticket. Please RSVP so we can plan for refreshments.
